Jason R. Smith President
Jason Smith is the President of Peak Ridge Capital Group and has played an integral role in the launch of each of Peak Ridge’s investment Groups. He is a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees and also oversees Peak Ridge’s Midwest operations.
Throughout his career, Jason has conducted hundreds of millions of dollars of private investment transactions. He is an active board member and currently a sitting director of multiple early/growth stage companies. In addition, Jason provides strategic advice to companies and investment funds ranging from deal screening and investment structuring, on through to mergers and acquisitions.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Jason served as the Capital Campaign Chairperson for the East Madison Community Center. Prior to his work with Peak Ridge, Jason spent several years as an attorney for the Stafford Rosenbaum law firm in Madison and as special counsel to a commercial real estate holding company.
Jason holds a J.D., cum laude, from the New England School of Law where he was honored by being an editor of, and published in, the school’s academic Journal, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
