Shondell J. Sabad Chief Financial Officer
Shondell Sabad is the Chief Financial Officer of Peak Ridge Capital Group and oversees the day-to-day financial aspects of the firm. His responsibilities include investment monitoring and reporting, compliance, risk management and investor relations. Shondell is also a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees.
Shondell has worked in the energy industry since
1996. Most recently, he was the VP & Director
managing the crude oil trading desk at TD
Securities where he was responsible for all crude
oil options and swap trading. Previously, Shondell
traded natural gas options at Sempra Energy, Mirant
and TransCanada Energy. Prior to trading natural
gas options, Shondell worked at Shell Canada for
nine years in various marketing and analytical roles.
His last role at Shell Canada was Trader Brent
Crude Oil where he was responsible for logistics and
trading of Shell Canada’s Brent Crude Oil program.
Shondell holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons)
degree in Finance and a Chartered Financial Analyst
designation and is a past President of the Calgary
CFA Society.
